1. CATEGORIES
1.1. Vert
The videos in the vert category must be recorded in halfpipes, and the length of the round must be of 15 seconds. No cuts are allowed during recording, that is, the video must be continuous. An introduction and an end can be added to these 15 seconds. It is also allowed to add a repetition of the round in slow motion.
1.2. Street
The videos in the street category have no length limit, but they must contain only a single line of 4 tricks without cuts. One of the tricks must be compulsorily either a slide or a grind in an obstacle.
2. SUBMISSION OF THE VIDEOS
2.1. Submission procedure
Each contestant can participate in either of the categories or in both. In the latter case, the two videos must be submitted separately. The procedure to submit each video is the followig one:
1. Upload the video to Youtube.com with the title "Ride to Glory 2010 (vert/street) - Name and surname". Example: "Ride to Glory 2010 (street) - Peter Smith".
2. Send an email to videos@ridetoglory.com. The subject of the email must be the same as the title of the video, that is "Ride to Glory 2010 (vert/street) - Name and surname". The body of the email must only contain the URL of the video and the country of the contestant. This latter information is only for statistical purposes; people from any country are very wellcome to participate.
2.2. Delivery period
The videos must be sent between the 18th and the 31st of October. Any
video sent out of this period will not be considered.
3. VIDEO SELECTION
The jury of the competition is made up of the moderators of Fingerboarding.es, who cannot participate in the event for obvious reasons. The judges will score the videos according to the following criteria: style, difficulty, realism and originality.
4. PRIZES
The top five contestants in each category will receive prizes provided by our
sponsors. Fingerboarding.es will take care of the delivery costs, thus the
winners will not have to pay anything. |
